TextCounter is a free, browser-based text analysis tool that counts characters, words, sentences, paragraphs, and spaces in text entered by the user. The Service also provides keyword density analysis, reading time estimates, and platform character limit indicators.

Any text you enter into TextCounter is processed entirely within your browser. We do not receive, store, or have access to any text you enter. You retain full ownership of all content you process through the Service.

While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty that the counts are accurate for every use case, language, or platform. Always verify character counts against the specific platform you are targeting. Platform limits (Twitter, SMS, Meta descriptions, etc.) may change over time; the limits shown in the tool are for guidance only.
