TextCounter ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at textcounteronline.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The short version: we do not collect, store, or transmit the text you type or paste into our tools. Counting, converting, and formatting happen entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your text never leaves your device. The site is supported by advertising, and our advertising partners may use cookies as described below.
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard web server logs, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and the pages you visit. This information is used for security, abuse prevention, and performance, and is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are visited most. This analytics does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
We use Google AdSense to show ads on TextCounter. Advertising is what keeps the tools free.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your location and the choices you make. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used.
TextCounter itself does not set first-party tracking cookies. Some tools remember simple preferences, such as your language or theme, in your browser's local storage on your own device. Cookies set by Google and its advertising partners are described in section 5. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools will keep working, although ads may become less relevant.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA). TextCounter is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
